Blasting Work between Exit 4 and Exit 5 on I-93 in Derry/Londonderry

Rolling Roadblocks are anticipated on I-93, Northbound and Southbound, throughout the winter season.

The New Hampshire Department of Transportation announces the beginning of blasting operations along Interstate 93 in Londonderry starting on Tuesday, October 11, 2022. Blasting will take place daily between the hours of 10 am and 2 pm, Monday through Friday, throughout the winter season.  This operation is required to construct the new Exit 4A interchange on I-93.

Rolling roadblocks will be used to slow northbound and southbound traffic on the interstate during blasting operations, resulting in minor delays. This work will take place during non-commuter hours, from approximately 10:00 am to 2:00 pm.  Motorist should remain alert while traveling through the construction zone and obey all posted signs.

This work is part of the $45 million I-93 Exit 4A Interchange construction project located between exits 4 and exits 5.  The general contractor is Weaver Brothers Construction Company from Bow, NH.
