Bridge Work on I-89 Lebanon, NH to Hartford, VT

Temporary lane closures on Connecticut River Bridges

The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) will be resuming construction operations on the I-89 Connecticut River Bridges between Lebanon, NH, and Hartford, VT on Monday, March 20, 2023. The start date is weather dependent and subject to change.

Weather permitting the contractor will resume work on the new median bridge, and temporary daytime lane closures will be required on the existing northbound and southbound bridges. The duration of the lane closures will vary day to day, but will generally occur between 7:00 am and 3:00 pm.

Message boards, uniformed officers, traffic control devices, and smart work zone devices will be used to notify the traveling public. Motorists should remain alert while traveling through the construction zone and obey all posted signs.

R.S. Audley of Bow, NH is the prime contractor for this project.
