The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) announces a new traffic pattern will be implemented for the construction work on being performed on the Route 122 bridge over Route 101 in Amherst.

This next phase of work will shift both lanes of traffic to the southern portion of the bridge while maintaining two-way traffic.  Construction will be taking place behind portable concrete barrier on the northern portion of the bridge.

Weather permitting, the traffic shift will be implemented Friday, May 12, 2023, and work on this portion of the bridge is expected to continue until late July.

Message boards and traffic control devices will be used to notify the traveling public. Motorists should remain alert while traveling through the construction zone and obey all posted signs.
