Bridge Work in Wentworth

The work will require closing a lane for several months

The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) will begin maintenance work on the bridge that carries Route 25 and Route 118 over Swain Brook in Wentworth, NH on Monday, December 27, 2021.  This is a small concrete slab bridge located just east of the intersection of Route 25 and Beech Hill Road in Wentworth.

The project will rehabilitate the deck and curbs of the bridge and will require closing a lane for several months.  Motorists will utilize one-lane of alternating traffic that will be controlled by traffic signals.  The available lane width for traffic will be 14 feet.  Work is projected to start the week of December 27, 2021, and is expected to finish, weather permitting, before April 1, 2022.

Motorists are encouraged to proceed with caution through the work zone.
