Concord 44556 Public Informational Meeting

NHDOT will discuss the preservation of the bridge that carries NH 132/East Side Drive over Interstate 393, US 4, and US 202 in Concord.

The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) will host a Public Informational Meeting to address the preservation of the bridge that carries NH 132/East Side Drive over Interstate 393, US 4, and US 202 in Concord. The project would repair deteriorated areas and maintain the expected useful service life of the bridge. The proposed work includes replacing parts that help the bridge move safely, fixing and sealing the bridge surface to keep water out, repairing damaged concrete, replacing joints that allow the bridge to expand and contract, and repaving the driving surface. 
  
The meeting will be held on Wednesday, May 21, 2025, at 6:00 pm in Room 114 of the John O. Morton Building, located at 7 Hazen Drive, Concord, NH. The public is encouraged to attend and participate. 
  
The purpose of this meeting is to present citizens and public officials with information regarding the proposed project and to solicit public input to ensure that project decisions meet public transportation needs and community goals and protect and enhance the environment. 
  
Citizens and public officials will have an opportunity to ask questions and share their thoughts regarding existing deficiencies to ensure that the project decisions meet public transportation needs and community goals and protect and enhance the environment.
