NHDOT will discuss an active Planning Study along NH 12A adjacent to Saint-Gaudens National Historical Park in the town of Cornish
New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) will hold a Public Informational Meeting to discuss an active NH 12A Planning Study. The purpose of the Planning Study is to consider alternatives for providing pedestrian crossings and safety improvements along NH 12A adjacent to the Saint-Gaudens National Historical Park.
The meeting is scheduled for Tuesday April 15, 2025, at 6:00pm at the Cornish Town Hall, 294 Town House Road, Cornish NH. The purpose of this meeting is to present citizens and public officials with information regarding the NH 12A Planning Study. The meeting will also solicit public input to ensure the Study’s recommendations meet public transportation needs and community goals and protect and enhance the environment.
The Study’s recommendations may illustrate concepts having a proposed effect on cultural or historic resources that are potentially eligible for or listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Individuals or organizations with a demonstrated interest in the potential impacts to historic resources have an opportunity to become consulting parties under Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act. Additional information will be provided at the public informational meeting.
