Culvert Work on Route 111 in Hampstead

This work will require daytime shoulder closures.

The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) announces that a project to rehabilitate an existing 42” diameter corrugated metal pipe connecting Johnson’s Pond under NH Route 111 in Hampstead has begun. 

Anticipated work hours are between 7:00 am and 7:00 pm. Route 111 will have lanes open at all times. Temporary daytime shoulder closures are anticipated. Traffic will return to normal operating conditions during non-work hours. Traffic to be maintained on pavement with a minimum lane width of 11 feet, lane closures will not be utilized from 6 am to 9 am and 3 pm to 6 pm. Electronic message boards and traffic control devices will be used to alert and assist motorists during the lane closures. 
 
Busby Construction of Atkinson, NH is the general contractor for the $347,198.00 project, which has a completion date of June 02, 2023.
