Traffic will be impacted at intersection of NH101A and Continental Blvd

The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) announces daytime signal work in Merrimack. This work will consist of putting up a temporary hanging traffic signal system and taking down the current metal signal arms at the intersection of NH 101A and Continental Blvd.

Weather permitting, work is scheduled for Tuesday, June 10, 2025, between the hours of 7:00 AM and 4:00 PM. This work will require the use of lane closures on both NH 101A and Continental Blvd. The work is expected to heavily impact traffic at times during the above-listed hours.

Message boards, uniformed officers, and traffic control devices will be used to notify the travelling public. Motorists should remain alert while traveling through the construction zone and obey all message boards and posted signs.

This work is part of the safety improvement project at NH 101A, Continental Blvd, Craftsman Lane and Boston Post Rd. Severino Trucking, Inc. of Candia, New Hampshire is the general contractor for this $9.85 million project, which is scheduled for completion in October of 2026.
