Daytime Lane Closures in Gilford
Traffic will be impacted on NH 11 Eastbound and Westbound for one month
The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) will begin day work on NH 11 Eastbound and Westbound will occur from Gilford East Drive to Lake Shore Park Road in Gilford.
This work will consist of, guardrail, curb, and structure adjustments. Additionally, paving will tentatively start in early May.
Weather dependent, this work is scheduled to be done between the hours of 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM starting on Monday, March 31st through Monday, April 28th. This work will require the use of temporary lane closures. Traffic will be alternated one-way around the moving temporary work zone. Message boards, flaggers, traffic control devices, and smart work zone devices will be used to notify the travelling public.
Road Users should remain alert while traveling through the construction zone and obey all posted signs.

This work is part of the Statewide Tier 2 Paving contract in the Lakes Region, which includes paving sections along NH 25, NH 11, and along NH 28. Pike Industries, Inc. of Belmont, New Hampshire is the general contractor for the $9.7 million project, which is scheduled for completion in the fall of 2025.
