Daytime Road Closures on NH 124 at the Troy/Jaffrey Town Line
Traffic will be impacted on NH 124 at Perkins Pond for two days.
The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) will begin day work on NH 124 at Perkins Pond at the Troy/Jaffrey town line. This work consists of installing steel plates over the culverts that run under NH 124 at Perkins Pond.
Weather permitting, this work is scheduled to be done between the hours of 6:00 AM and 5:00 PM on Wednesday, June 4 and Thursday, June 5, 2025, and will require road closures with a detour. Message boards and traffic control devices will be in place to guide and inform road users.
Northbound traffic will be detoured from NH 124 onto Monadnock Street, then to NH 12, followed by Marlborough Road/Troy Road, and back to NH 124. Southbound traffic will follow the same route in reverse. Road users heading to Keene may also continue north on NH 12 instead of returning to NH 124; however, this alternate route will not be signed.
Road Users are encouraged to sign up for free, real-time construction and traffic related messages (text or email) from https://newengland511.org/.
