Keene 41590 Public Informational Meeting

The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) will hold a Public Informational Meeting and interactive session to discuss the Rt 101 improvements from east of Optical Avenue to Branch Road in the City of Keene. 
  
Improvements along Rt 101 and Swanzey Factory Road are proposed due to the deteriorated condition of the roadway pavement and drainage, the Rt 101 bridge over the Branch River, as well as the safety challenges at the Swanzey Factory Road intersection with Rt 101.  Additional information will be provided at the public informational meeting. 

The meeting will be held on Thursday, December 19, 2024, at the City of Keene’s, Keene Library Annex Heberton Hall, 60 Winter Street, Keene, NH.  Doors will open at 5:30 pm for informal review and discussion of plans; formal presentation will start at 6:00 pm.  Subsequent to the presentation, there will be an opportunity for open discussion of the project. 

The purpose of this meeting is to present citizens and attending public officials with information regarding the proposed project and to solicit public input in order to ensure that project decisions meet public transportation needs, community goals, and protect and enhance the environment.
