Maintenance Work on I-95 in Portsmouth

The work will require closing the southbound left and center lanes for several hours.

The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) will close the left and center lanes of I-95 southbound in Portsmouth, in the area of mile marker 14.2 on Saturday, December 4, from 6:00 am to 10:30 am, weather permitting, in order to repair a bridge joint.  Minor to moderate delays can be expected.

Motorists travelling southbound on I-95 will be guided via signs and traffic cones through the work zone via the right travel lane. Motorists can also by-pass the work area by taking exit 5 to the Portsmouth Traffic Circle, and proceeding to I-95 south from the Circle.
