Nighttime Paving Operations to Begin on I-93 in Bow

Nightly lane closures will impact traffic between 8 pm and 5 am

The New Hampshire Department of Transportation announces that starting on Sunday, April 24, 2022, night paving operations will begin on I-93 in Bow, with lane closures on the northbound and southbound lanes of I-93 from mile marker 30 to 35.

Weather permitting this work is scheduled to be done at night (Sunday through Friday) between the hours of 8:00 pm and 5:00 am. Construction operations will require nightly lane closures on the northbound and southbound lanes in order to facilitate roadway milling and filling activity. Message boards and smart work zone devices will be used to notify the traveling public. Motorists should remain alert while traveling through the construction zone and obey all message boards and signs.

This Central Turnpike project involves resurfacing existing roadways in select locations on Interstate 93 in Bow, at the Hooksett Tolls, and spot inlays on the Circumferential Highway (between Daniel Webster Highway and NH Route 3A) and full width inlays of Exit 8 ramps in Nashua.

Pike Industries of Belmont, New Hampshire is the contractor for the $4 million project, which has a final completion date of September 16, 2022.
