Nighttime Road Work on Route 4 in Lebanon-Canaan

Temporary lane closures will impact motorists at night for two weeks.

The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) will begin resurfacing work on Sunday evening, July 25, 2021 on US Route 4 between the intersection of US Route 4 and Canaan Street in Canaan to approximately 500-feet east of the intersection of US Route 4 and Laplante Road in Lebanon.  Pavement inlays and a pavement overlay will be completed along the 11.8-mile roadway length.

Weather permitting, work will be performed between the hours of 7:00 pm to 7:00 am and require approximately two weeks to complete.

One-way alternating traffic will be encountered during work hours. Two-way traffic will be maintained as much as possible. Motorists should remain alert while traveling through the construction zone and obey all posted signs.

This $2.36 million Pavement Resurfacing project is being constructed by GMI Asphalt of Belmont, NH and has a completion date of September 10, 2021.
