Overhead Sign Repairs on Route 101 in Exeter

The work will require temporarily closing the westbound lanes on a section of the highway.

The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) will repair an overhead sign structure on NH Route 101, on the westbound lanes, in Exeter on Friday morning, August 2, 2024 at 2:00 am.

The sign is located at the Exit 10 overpass bridge, at mile 85.6, and will require NH Route 101 westbound to be closed to through traffic for approximately four hours.  A signed detour will direct road users around the closure using the Exit 10 off ramp and Exit 10 on ramp.

Message boards and traffic control devices will be used to direct and inform area traffic. Road users are encouraged to sign up for free, real-time construction and traffic related messages (text or email) from https://newengland511.org/
