Pavement Marking Symbols work in Concord

Lane closures will impact road users on Wednesday night, October 9, 2024.

The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) will be installing lane marking arrows at the intersection of Route 3 and Route 4 with Merchants Way and Whitney Road in Concord inside the roundabout.  The work is weather dependent and will require short duration lane closures. This work will take place on Wednesday, October 9, 2024 between 9:00 PM and 3:00 AM Thursday, October 10, 2024.

This work will install lane markings inside the roundabout. The configuration of the intersection will remain unchanged. The goal of this work is to improve overall driver safety by providing lane markings.

Warning signs and traffic cones will be used to notify the traveling public of the lane closures. Road users are asked to use caution while driving through the work zone. Road users are also encouraged to sign up for free, real-time construction and traffic-related messages (text or email) from https://newengland511.org/.
