Paving Work at the I-89 Exit 12 Park and Ride

The work will require closing the Park and Ride for several days starting May 1st.

The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) will be closing the I-89 Exit 12 Park and Ride in New London on Monday evening, May 1, 2023 for paving and striping operations.

Weather permitting the work will require several days and the Park and Ride will be closed and all vehicles must be moved out of the parking lot. Vehicles left in the parking lot will be towed. It is anticipated that the Park & Ride will reopen Thursday morning, May 4, 2023 at 4:00 am for normal operations.

The Park and Ride is located just off I-89, at the intersection of NH Route 11 and NH Route 103A.  Construction crews will repave the existing Park and Ride lot, and connect it to the new 50 parking spaces. Pavement markings will also be added during the closure.

F.L. Merrill Construction of Loudon, NH is the general contractor for the $647,612.75 project, which has a completion date of August 11, 2023.
