Pelham 16145 Public Hearing/ Public Informational Meeting
NHDOT to discuss the proposed rehabilitation or replacement of the existing Red List bridges that carry Main Street over Beaver Brook.
The Commission of Three Persons appointed by the Governor and Executive Council pursuant to RSA 230:14 on May 15, 2023, for the project noted above will meet on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, at 6:00 PM, at the Pelham Town Hall, 6 Village Green, Pelham, NH, to discuss the proposed project. This meeting is open to the public under RSA Chapter 91-A.
The Town Hall will be open at 5:30 pm for the inspection of plans by any interested persons.
The solution to address the Red List bridges will also include several hundred feet of sidewalk construction on the south side of Main Street. Addressing the Red List bridges will significantly improve hydraulic issues in the area and address structural issues of the current bridges.
Interested landowners, local officials, and highway users are invited to attend the hearing and will have the opportunity to express their comments relative to the project. Audio of the hearing will be recorded. Maps, plans, environmental studies, and other pertinent information developed for the Department, along with written reports received because of the coordination with other agencies, are available at the Department of Transportation at the John O. Morton Building, 7 Hazen Drive, Concord, New Hampshire for inspection and copying. Please call David Scott, Project Manager, at (603) 271-2731 in advance for an appointment.
