Temporary Closure of the Northbound and Southbound Open Road Tolling Lanes on I-95 in Hampton

The ORT Lanes will be closed between 6:00AM and 3:00 pm for two days.

The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) plans to close both the northbound and southbound Open Road Toll (ORT) lanes at the Hampton Toll Plaza on Interstate 95 for system testing.

Weather permitting, the closure for the ORT lanes is scheduled Wednesday, June 7, 2023, and Thursday, June 8, 2023, from 6:00 AM until 3:00 PM.

The closure is necessary in order to perform testing of our new ORT/AET Host Transaction Processing System. All motorists will be guided via signs and traffic cones to the non-ORT portion of the Hampton Toll Plaza where they will proceed through either dedicated E-ZPass lane or cash lanes.

Motorists are also encouraged to sign up for free, real-time construction and traffic related messages (text or email) from https://newengland511.org/.

NHDOT programs and services are administered by the requirements of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and all applicable regulations to ensure nondiscrimination.
