Culvert Replacement on Route 117 in Sugar Hill

Temporary traffic signals and Bickford Hill Road Closures will be required during various phases of the work.

The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) announces that the Bureau of Highway Maintenance will be replacing a failing metal culvert at the Bowen Brook Crossing of Route 117 in Sugar Hill.  The project will commence on Wednesday, June 21, 2023 and is planned to take approximately eight weeks to complete.  Temporary traffic signals will be in place during several phases of construction starting on Wednesday, July 5, 2023.  In addition, Bickford Hill Road will be closed to thru traffic during various phases of the work. 
 
Message boards and traffic control devices will be used to notify the traveling public. Motorists should remain alert while traveling through the work zone and obey all posted signs.
