Daytime Maintenance Work at the Epping Park and Ride

Half of the lot will be closed all day for construction activities. There will be no overnight parking.

The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) will begin daytime maintenance work on the Epping Park and Ride on Monday, April 24, 2023. Work will continue through Tuesday, April 25, 2023. Overnight parking from Sunday through Tuesday between the hours of 9:00 pm and 5:00 am is prohibited. Vehicles left unattended between these hours will be towed.

NHDOT recognizes the positive economic and environmental impact of the NH Park and Ride system. This construction effort is necessary to ensure the Epping Park and Ride retains serviceability. Resurfacing the pavement of the Park and Ride is deemed the most cost-effective manner to preserve the parking area while avoiding more costly repairs in the future.

Phased construction will be utilized to ensure half of the Park and Ride remains open to the public during daytime hours. Please be advised that parking may be limited.

Message boards and smart work zone devices will be used to notify the traveling public of any traffic pattern changes. Motorists should remain alert while traveling through the construction zone and obey all posted signs.

This work is a part of the $2.95 million District 6 Resurfacing project.  The general contractor is Continental Paving of Londonderry, NH.
