Daytime Paving Work on NH Route 108 in Newmarket, NH

Work Will Require Detour of Traffic for two days.

The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) will be starting daytime paving work on Thursday, October 26, at 9:00 am on NH Route 108 in Newmarket.

Weather permitting crews will work paving NH Route 108 between the junctions of Ash Swamp Road and Bennett Way to repair deteriorated pavement.

This work will require a detour of northbound passenger vehicles during work hours to minimize vehicle delays. The detour will be in place from the junction of New Road in Newfields to the junction of New Road in Newmarket.  Detour signs will be installed to direct traffic around the work zone.

Message boards and traffic control devices will be used to direct and inform local traffic. Motorists are encouraged to sign up for free, real-time construction and traffic related messages (text or email) from https://newengland511.org/.

This work is a part of the $2.95 million District 6 Resurfacing project. The general contractor is Continental Paving of Londonderry, NH.
