Daytime Road Work on Route 125 in Barrington

Lane shifts will be required during the day for one week starting on Monday, July 17, 2023.

The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) will begin daytime road work on Route 125 in Barrington from Newton Plains Road to Century Pines Road on Monday, July 17, 2023, at 7 am. 
 
Weather permitting crews will work from 7 am to 3 pm for several days to finish paving repairs in this area which will require lanes shift during road work operations. 

Nighttime work for final pavement overlay on this project will resume on Sunday, July 23, 2023 at 7 pm and continue Sunday through Thursday nights from 7 pm to 5 am until Friday, September 8, 2023. 
 
Message boards and traffic control devices will be used to direct and inform local traffic. Motorists are encouraged to sign up for free, real-time construction and traffic related messages (text or email) from https://newengland511.org/.

This work is part of the $3.6 million pavement resurfacing project on two sections of Route 125 in Lee, Barrington, and Plaistow. The estimated completion date is September 29, 2023, and the general contractor is Brox Industries of Dracut, MA.
