Deerfield Commission Meeting

Finding of Necessity of Project 24477

The Commission of Three appointed by the Governor and Executive Council on May 26, 2022, for the project noted above will meet at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 7, 2022, at the N.H. Department of Transportation, Room 112/113, 7 Hazen Drive in Concord, N.H., to discuss the proposed project. This meeting is a public proceeding under RSA Chapter 91-A. The intent of the meeting is not to take testimony, but rather, serve as a decision-making forum for the Commission. The public may observe the proceedings.

NHDOT programs and services will be administered in accordance with the requirements of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and all applicable regulations to ensure nondiscrimination. The purpose of the Deerfield 24477 Project is to address the red-list culvert on NH 107 over Freeses Pond. The improvements will include the replacement of the metal pipe arch culvert with a four-sided precast concrete box culvert, Additional improvements will include a new bridge rail, bridge approach rail, and guardrail in the location of the culvert.
