Durham Public Informational Meeting

The intent of this meeting is to facilitate community discussion concerning the US Route 4 and Madbury Road intersection preliminary design.

The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) will hold a Public Informational Meeting on Wednesday, July 19, 2023, at 6 pm at the Town Hall in Durham to present citizens and public officials with information regarding progress on the preliminary design for the intersection improvement project at US Route 4 and Madbury Road.

This project is included in the NHDOT ten-year improvement plan with construction scheduled for 2025. The public will have an opportunity to ask questions and share their thoughts regarding potential improvements to ensure that the project decisions meet public transportation needs, community goals, and protect and enhance the environment.

This project may have an effect on cultural or historic resources that are potentially eligible for or listed on the National Register of Historic Places.  Individuals or organizations with a demonstrated interest in the potential impacts to historic resources have an opportunity to become Consulting Parties under Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act.  Additional information will be provided at the public informational meeting.

The meeting will be held on Wednesday, July 19, 2023, doors open at 5:30 pm, presentation begins at 6:00 pm. The in-person meeting will be held in the Town Hall, 8 Newmarket Road, Durham NH.
