Lancaster-Shelburne 40844 Public Informational Meetings

NHDOT will discuss the upcoming safety improvement project to install sinusoidal rumble strips along US Route 2 between Lancaster and Shelburne.

The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) will host Public Informational Meetings to discuss the upcoming safety improvement project to install sinusoidal rumble strips along Route 2 between Lancaster and Shelburne. 

The purpose of these meetings is to present citizens and public officials with information regarding the proposed project and to solicit public input to ensure that project decisions meet public transportation needs, community goals, and protect and enhance the environment. Accordingly, NHDOT assures that this project will be administered according to the requirements of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and all related statutes to ensure nondiscrimination.

Two meetings are scheduled.  Both will be the same presentations with the maps tailored to the specific hosting communities.  The public is encouraged to attend and participate in either meeting.

The meeting for Randolph is scheduled for Thursday, March 21, 2024, at 6:00 pm and will be hosted virtually through Microsoft Teams (Join a Microsoft Teams Meeting by ID | Microsoft Teams):

The meeting for Shelburne is scheduled for Wednesday, March 27, 2024, at 6:00 pm at the Shelburne Town Hall, 74 Village Road, Shelburne, NH.
