The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) will hold a Public Officials/Public Informational Meeting to discuss preservation of the bridge carrying Lee Hook Road over Lamprey River and the bridge carrying Route 152 over North River.

The scope of work consists of preservation efforts to the decks as well as reconstructing the copings on the Lee Hook Road bridge. This project may have an effect on cultural or historic resources that are potentially eligible for or listed on the National Register of Historic Places.  Individuals or organizations with a demonstrated interest in the potential impacts to historic resources have an opportunity to become Consulting Parties under Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act.  Additional information will be provided at the public informational meeting. The repairs to the Lee Hook Road bridge will require the bridge to be closed for approximately 16 weeks.  The repairs to the Route 152 bridge will require one lane of alternating traffic, controlled by temporary traffic signals, for approximately 16 weeks.

The meeting will be held on Monday, March 18, 2024 at the Lee Fire/Police Public Safety Complex located at 20 George Bennett Road as part of the regularly scheduled Select Board’s meeting starting at 6:00 pm

The purpose of this meeting is to present citizens and public officials with information regarding the proposed project and to solicit public input in order to ensure that project decisions meet public transportation needs, community goals, and protect and enhance the environment.
