Memorial Bridge Inspection - Temporary Closure on 9/21/2021
The bridge will be closed during the day to facilitate utility inspections.
The NH Department of Transportation will be closing the Memorial Bridge in Portsmouth, NH/Kittery, ME to pedestrians and vehicular traffic on September 21, 2021 from 6 am to 4 pm to facilitate utility inspections. The bridge will still be open to river traffic.
The traveling public should follow construction signs and message boards which will direct them to use the Sarah Mildred Long Bridge during the closure. In the event of inclement weather, the closure will be rescheduled to September 22, 2021.
