NHDOT Releases NEVI RFP

Proposals will be accepted until 2:00pm on Friday, December 15, 2023.

The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) is releasing the State’s Phase 1 Request for Proposals in conjunction with the State of New Hampshire Plan for Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Deployment. The National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure (NEVI) program will provide more than $17 million to New Hampshire over a five-year period to deploy fast and reliable electric vehicle charging stations along alternative fuel corridors. The goal of the NEVI program, part of the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, is to locate half a million new charging stations along major travel routes across the country.

Phase 1 of New Hampshire’s NEVI plan provides a framework to develop a network of EV charging stations along the major travel corridors of I-89, I-93, U.S. Route 202/NH 9, and NH 16. The State’s vision is to strategically deploy an interconnected and equitable network of public electric vehicle charging infrastructure to encourage electric vehicle travel, maintain economic competitiveness, and stimulate public-private sector collaboration in the State of New Hampshire.
The selected vendors will be responsible for installing new direct-current (DC) fast-charging stations along with five years of operation and maintenance following the notice of acceptance.

Proposals will be accepted until 2:00pm on Friday, December 15, 2023. Bid details are available here.
