Motorists will utilize the newly constructed Exit 4A off and on ramps for four nights.

The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) will temporarily close the I-93 northbound lanes for four nights to set steel girders on the new Exit 4A bridge in Derry/Londonderry.

Commencing at 7:00 pm on Monday evening, December 18, 2023 the northbound traffic will undergo temporary rerouting through the newly constructed northbound ramps and re-entry onto I-93.

The lane closures will span from mile marker 11 to mile marker 13, with traffic being condensed to one lane near mile marker 12 throughout the project area.  The scheduled work will be conducted nightly from Monday, December 18, 2023 through the morning of the Friday, December 22, 2023 with closure hours anticipated between 7:00 pm and 5:00 am.  Motorists should remain alert while traveling through the construction zone and obey all posted signs.

Motorists are also encouraged to sign up for free, real-time construction and traffic related messages (text or email) from https://newengland511.org/.

This ongoing project is part of the larger $45 million I-93 Exit 4A Interchange construction initiative situated between Exits 4 and 5. Weaver Brothers Construction Company, headquartered in Bow, NH, serves as the general contractor for this project.
