The work will require reducing traffic to one lane in each direction and brief traffic shutdowns.

The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) will perform nighttime overhead sign work on Rockingham Park Boulevard in Salem between Route 28 and Tuscan Boulevard from the evening of Monday, October 23, 2023 through Saturday morning October 28, 2023.

Weather permitting, work to install new overhead signs and remove the existing sign structure will require reducing traffic to one lane in each direction and brief traffic shutdowns from 9:00 pm to 5:00 am.

Motorists should remain alert while traveling through the work zone and obey all posted signs. Motorists are also encouraged to sign up for free, real-time construction and traffic related messages (text or email) from https://newengland511.org/.

This work is part of the $1.1 million-dollar overhead sign structure replacement project on Rockingham Park Boulevard in Salem.  The general contractor is R.S. Audley, of Bow, NH.
