Nighttime Paving on NH Route 16 in Ossipee and Conway

One lane will be closed each night, weather permitting, for two weeks.

The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) will perform paving and line striping work on Route 16 from the junction of Route 41 in Ossipee to the railroad tracks in Conway beginning Sunday night, July 30, 2023.  
 
Weather permitting, paving will begin at approximately 8 pm each night for two weeks. This work will require motorists to utilize one lane of alternating traffic from 8 pm to 6 am each night.
 
Motorists should remain alert while traveling through the construction zone and obey all posted signs.  Motorists are also encouraged to sign up for free, real-time construction and traffic related messages (text or email) from https://newengland511.org/.

This work is part of the $3.2 million Ossipee/Conway/Wakefield Resurfacing contract, Project 43055, which is anticipated to finish by September 22, 2023.  The general contractor is Pike Industries of Belmont, NH.
