Nighttime Road Work on I-95

Work will impact traffic in Portsmouth between 8 pm and 5 am.

The New Hampshire Department of Transportation has resumed roadway resurfacing work on Interstate 95 in Portsmouth, NH.
 
Work will begin on I-95 between the high level bridge and the Portsmouth traffic circle and is scheduled to be done between the hours of 8 pm and 5 am. The construction crews will be working Sunday night through Thursday night, and will require the use of lane closures. Some minor daytime work may also be performed. Message boards will be in place to notify the traveling public and motorists should remain alert while traveling through the construction zone and obey all posted signs.

All work is weather dependent. Based on the current schedule, it is anticipated that the work will be finished by July 31, 2022.

This work is part of a $8.62 million Turnpike Resurfacing Program.  The general contractor is Brox Industries of Dracut, Massachusetts.
