Nighttime Road Work on Route 101 from Epping to Exeter

Temporary lane closures will be required for the next six weeks.

The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) will begin nighttime road work on Route 101 between Exits 6 and 9 beginning on Sunday, April 16, 2023, at approximately 9 pm.

Weather permitting crews will work Sunday night through Friday mornings, from approximately 9 pm to 5 am, for the next six weeks ending on approximately Friday, May 15, 2023. This work will be intermittent and will require temporary lane closures. One lane of traffic will be maintained on eastbound and westbound barrels during construction operations.

Message boards and traffic control devices will be used to notify the traveling public. Motorists should remain alert while traveling through the construction zone and obey all posted signs.

This work is part of the $0.4 M sign replacement project on Route 101 between exits 6 and 9, both eastbound and westbound. The estimated completion date is May 15, 2023, and the general contractor is K5 Corporation of Rockland, MA.
