Nighttime Sign Work on I-393 from Concord to Chichester

This work will replace the existing signs.

The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) will be replacing the signs on I-393, between Exits 1 and 3 on Tuesday night, December 12, 2023, between the hours of 8 pm and 5 am.

Weather permitting, the crews will utilize the road shoulder near the signs but may also require closing a lane temporarily. Traffic impacts are expected to be minimal.

Temporary traffic control devices will be used to notify the traveling public. Motorists should remain alert while traveling through the construction zone and obey all posted signs. Motorists are also encouraged to sign up for free, real-time construction and traffic related messages (text or email) from https://newengland511.org/.

This work is necessary to complete the $0.5 million sign replacement project on I-393, both eastbound and westbound. The general contractor is Northeast Traffic Control Services of Plymouth, MA.
