Nighttime Work at Exit 2 on I-95 in North Hampton

This work will require temporarily closing the northbound Exit 2 on and off ramps overnight.

The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) will continue work to rehabilitate the I-95 Exit 2 bridge in North Hampton on Thursday, September 14, 2023. The work will require the northbound Exit 2 on and off ramps to be closed temporarily from 9 pm to 5 am.

Weather permitting, construction crews will close the ramps to make room for the crane needed set new deck panels on the bridge.

Detour signing will be in place to direct motorists around the closure. Motorists should remain alert while traveling through the construction zone and obey all posted signs.

Motorists are also encouraged to sign up for free, real-time construction and traffic related messages (text or email) from https://newengland511.org/.

This work is part of the North Hampton 42979 project.  New England Infrastructure of Hudson, Massachusetts is the prime contractor for the $4.9 million project, which is scheduled to be completed in November 2023.
