Nighttime Work at Exit 2 on I-95 in North Hampton - Update

This work will require temporarily closing the northbound Exit 2 on ramp overnight.

Due to inclement weather on Thursday evening, the Exit 2 ramp will be closed from 9 pm to 5 am on Monday, April 10, 2023 to complete the work.

The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) will continue work to rehabilitate the I-95 Exit 2 bridge in North Hampton on Tuesday, April 4, 2023, and Thursday, April 6, 2023. The work will require the northbound Exit 2 on ramp to be closed temporarily at night from 9 pm to 5 am.

Weather permitting, construction crews will close the ramp in order to shift traffic over the bridge onto the northern half of the bridge. This will make room for crews to start replacing the deck on the southern half of the bridge.

Detour signing will be in place to direct motorists around the closure. Motorists should remain alert while traveling through the construction zone and obey all posted signs.

This work is part of the North Hampton 42979 project.  New England Infrastructure, Inc. of Hudson, Massachusetts is the prime contractor for the $4.9 million project, which is scheduled to be completed in November 2023.
