Ocean Boulevard (NH Route 1A) Public Open House

NHDOT to discuss and collect feedback on proposed improvement options on NH Route 1A in Hampton.

The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) will host a Public Open House to discuss potential corridor and intersection improvement options to Ocean Boulevard (NH Route 1A) in Hampton. The event is scheduled on Saturday, February 25, 2023, from 1-5 pm at The Seashell Complex Banquet Room at 180 Ocean Boulevard, in Hampton. Members of the community are encouraged to attend and participate at any time that is convenient for them.

The purpose of this event is to present citizens and public officials with information regarding the potential improvement options to the 3.3-mile Ocean Boulevard corridor between the Hampton Beach State Park Driveway and High Street (NH Route 27). NHDOT also aims to solicit public input at the event to ensure that project decisions meet public transportation needs and community goals and protect and enhance the environment.

The Public Open House will have the proposed improvement plans and other informational materials on display throughout the afternoon. Project team members will be available to discuss the potential corridor and intersection improvement options, answer questions, and collect feedback. In addition, there will be a 30-minute presentation at 3 pm to provide additional detail on the improvement options.
