Paving Work on Route 25 in Center Harbor-Moultonborough

Work will require a lane closure for guardrail and paving activity.

The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) will begin road work on a section of Route 25 in Center Harbor-Moultonborough from the Route 25B intersection in Center Harbor, easterly to the Route 109 intersection in Moultonborough (approximately 5.6 miles), on Monday, June 6, 2022.

Weather permitting, construction crews will begin guardrail work during the day on Monday, June 6. Cold planing and paving operations will tentatively begin during the night on Monday, June 20, 2022. One lane will be closed and motorists will utilize one lane of alternating traffic as directed by traffic control flaggers.

Motorists are advised to expect delays and proceed with caution when traveling through the work zone. There will be a period of time where some traffic will travel on a milled surface, and motorists, especially motorcycles, are urged to use caution through this work zone.

This work is part of a 20.6 mile Statewide resurfacing job with multiple locations throughout the central part of the state. GMI Asphalt of Belmont, NH is the General Contractor of this job with a final completion date of September 9, 2022.
