Road Work in Hudson and Windham

Work on Route 111 will require temporary lane closures throughout the summer.

The New Hampshire Department of Transportation announces that construction activities will begin on Route 111 in Hudson and Windham, NH on Sunday evening, on April 24, 2022.  This work will require intermittent traffic shifts and temporary lane closures. The lane closures will take place primarily at night with some minor traffic shifts and closures during daytime operations.

This work will include milling, crack filling, paving, pavement markings, guardrail installation, sidewalk work, minor excavation and drainage structure work. Milling and paving operations will take place at night between 8:00 pm and 6:00 am, from Sunday evening through Friday morning. The work area includes Route 111 between Church Road in Windham and a pavement joint 1000’ west of the Greeley Street intersection in Hudson. Message boards, uniformed officers and traffic control devices will be used to notify the traveling public.  This work is weather dependent and may require rescheduling.

This work is part of Derry-Londonderry/Hudson-Windham Tier 2 pavement preservation project. Brox Industries, Inc of Dracut, Massachusetts is the general contractor for the $5.1 million project, which is scheduled for completion in the late summer of 2023.
