Temporary Bridge Closure on Route 202 in Barrington

Traffic will be detoured around the bridge on Wednesday, May 18, 2022, from 6 am to 3 pm.

The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) will temporarily close the bridge over the Isinglass River on Route 202 in Barrington on Wednesday, May 18, 2022.  Motorists will be detoured from 6 am to 3 pm.

Traffic will be directed via message boards and closure signs to use the alternate routes. On the Spaulding Turnpike, US Route 202 westbound through traffic will be directed to use Exit 12 to NH Route 125. US Route 202 eastbound through traffic will be directed to use NH Route 9 to NH Route 125. Barricade mounted signs will indicate local traffic only on US Route 202 either side of the bridge.  The bridge will reopen to one lane of alternating traffic controlled by signals after 3 pm.
