The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) announces that as of 11 am this morning NH Route 107 in Deerfield, NH at the bridge over Freeses Pond has been closed to all traffic for emergency, structural repairs.

The bridge will be reopened to traffic once the work is completed.  The work is expected to take several weeks.
Traffic will be detoured around the bridge closure using NH Route 43 and US Route 4.

This bridge is scheduled to be replaced in 2023, as a part of the NHDOT Ten Year Plan. Repairs are intended to enable the bridge to remain in service until its replacement.
