Temporary Ramp Closures at Exit 19 Northbound on I-89 in Lebanon

The work will require closing the I-89 northbound on and off-ramp for one day.

The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) in conjunction with the City of Lebanon will temporarily close the I-89 Exit 19 northbound on and off-ramp Monday, May 13, 2024, at 6:00 am to allow for paving on the right lane of US Route 4 westbound and for raising catch basins on the on and off-ramps prior final ramp paving.

Construction is anticipated to last one day while the work is completed. The work schedule is weather dependent, and the start date could be delayed. A detour utilizing message boards and temporary construction signs will be put in place directing off-ramp traffic to use I-89 northbound Exit 20 to reverse directions to I-89 southbound where they can use the Exit 19 southbound off-ramp. On-ramp traffic will be directed to use I-89 southbound Exit 19 on-ramp to I-89 southbound Exit 18 to reverse directions to I-89 northbound.

Motorists should remain alert while traveling through the construction zone and obey all posted signs. Motorists are also encouraged to sign up for free, real-time construction and traffic related messages (text or email) from https://newengland511.org/.

E.D. Swett of Concord, NH is the prime contractor for this project which is scheduled to be completed in June of 2024.
