Troy Public Informational Meeting

NHDOT to discuss proposed projects on Route 12 over the South Branch Ashuelot River and NHRR bridges.

The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) will host a Public Informational Meeting to discuss two bridge projects in Troy, NH. The first project, Troy 40370, proposes to replace the existing Red List concrete rigid frame bridge carrying NH Route 12 over the South Branch Ashuelot River (Bridge No. 089/114) and the second, Troy 40371, proposes to rehabilitate the existing Red List bridge carrying NH Route 12 over the NHRR (Cheshire Rail Trail) (Bridge No. 096/091). These projects will also include minor roadway reconstruction on the approaches. 

The meeting is scheduled on Thursday, June 23, 2022, at 6:30 pm at the Samuel E. Paul Recreation Center 61 South Street, Troy, NH 03465.  The public is encouraged to attend and participate.

The purpose of this meeting is to present citizens and public officials with information regarding the proposed project and to solicit public input to ensure that project decisions meet public transportation needs and community goals and protect and enhance the environment.  Accordingly, NHDOT assures that this project will be administered according to the requirements of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and all related statutes to ensure nondiscrimination.

Citizens and public officials will have an opportunity to ask questions and share their thoughts regarding existing deficiencies to ensure that the project decisions meet public transportation needs and community goals and protect and enhance the environment.  Accordingly, NHDOT assures that this project will be administered according to the requirements of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and all related statutes to ensure nondiscrimination.
