Work Resumes at Exit 2 on I-95 in North Hampton

This work will require a daytime closure of the Hampton Toll Open Road Tolling (ORT) lanes.

The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) announces that work to rehabilitate the I-95 Exit 2 bridge in North Hampton will resume on Monday, March 20, 2023.

Weather permitting, construction crews will temporarily shift traffic in the Hampton Toll cash lanes and close the ORT lanes to access the full width of the overpass from below. This work is expected to take five days with the northbound and southbound ORT lanes being closed on Tuesday, March 21, 2023. This work will also require brief rolling roadblocks on the northbound on ramp Wednesday, March 22, 2023 to access above the ramp.

The work is weather dependent and will be moved to the next available day in the event of inclement weather. Motorists should remain alert while traveling through the construction zone and obey all posted signs.

This work is part of the North Hampton 42979 project.  New England Infrastructure of Hudson, Massachusetts is the prime contractor for the $4.9 million project, which is scheduled to be completed in November 2023.
