Contractor Compliance Program

Under Executive Order 11246 and the Federal-Aid Highway Act, NHDOT is required to ensure that all contractors, subcontractors, vendors and material suppliers comply with nondiscrimination and affirmative action requirements in employment and contracting practices which include, but are not limited to, the payment of minimum Federal wages under the Davis-Bacon Act, promotions, training, recruitment, subcontract procurement and equal employment opportunity.

The Office of Access, Opportunity and Compliance (OAOC) administers and oversees compliance of contractors in accordance with 23 CFR Part 230, FHWA 1273 and the NHDOT Contract Compliance Program (CCP). Additionally, the office of AOC overseas compliance with other State of New Hampshire laws related to the work performed on each project, specifically the workers compensation coverage and safety requirements stipulated in RSA 228:4-b.
